Join our team as an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician, ensuring seamless medication delivery to long term care facilities. Our IV Pharmacy Technicians will assist pharmacists in preparing sterile admixtures and compounding IV solutions while following 797 USP Standards. Our IV Technicians play a critical role in maintaining cleanroom standards, managing inventory and handling documentation.
Location:
On site at our closed door, Southborough, MA, pharmacy
Salary: starting at $26 - $28 /hr (contingent with experience) (+ $3 hr. Shift Differential)

IV Supervisor
Available Schedules:
Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (every 3rd weekend 10:00 am – 6:30 pm)

- Perform sanitation and maintenance of the cleanroom area and infusion equipment according to 797 USP Standards
- Compound sterile admixtures and non‑admixtures, including but not limited to parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, hydration, using aseptic technique
- Prepare labels, prescriptions, compounding/mixing worksheets and complete and maintain product lot numbers and expiration dates. Generate delivery/pick slips under the supervision of the pharmacist. Pick and prepare supplies
- Take inventory, place orders, check in medications and supplies, stock IV shelves and remove out‑of‑date items from inventory
- Record and maintain refrigerator temperature logs
- Use good documentation practices
- Assist pharmacists and call facilities for IV order questions
- Maintain cleaning and functionality of IV pumps and record IV pump information
- Adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of federal or state laws to the direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Must have National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/NHA) required (must be in good standing)
- Pharmacy Technician License in MA is required (must be in good standing)
- 1–2 years’ experience as an IV Technician
- Framework experience is a plus
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Attention to detail

- Flexibility to work overtime, holidays and weekends
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout shift
- Knowledge of Pharmacy law and medical terminology
