Position: Locum MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiation Oncology

Description

Rinvio Recruitment is actively seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiation Oncology. This contract position is on-site, providing an exciting opportunity for medical professionals to contribute their expertise in a critical healthcare setting.

As a Locum Radiation Oncologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be essential in managing treatment plans and providing support to patients undergoing radiation therapy. This role not only allows you to make a meaningful impact in patient care but also offers flexibility and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation oncology services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in case discussions and treatment planning meetings
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology techniques and practices
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
  • Board certification in Radiation Oncology
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology
  • Strong knowledge of radiation treatment protocols and patient management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Active medical license in the state of practice

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

No call required

Setting:
Outpatient

Patient Census: 15-20 per day

Procedures: SBRT, IMRT, 3D radiation treatment; no brachytherapy

EMR:
Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
