Role
:
Behavior Therapists/RBTs are directly responsible for providing one-to-one instruction of skills and alternatives to interfering behavior based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Provide one-to-one ABA-based instruction and support to center-based Saturday clients.
• Implement predetermined behavioral strategies and data collection procedures.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of incidents, plans, and data graphs for designated programs.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and clinical consultants; receive feedback professionally and work independently with initial direction.
• Assist in crisis situations as needed and ensure confidentiality and high ethical standards.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational skills including multitasking, prioritization, and teamwork.
• Punctuality and accountability.
• Maintain confidentiality and a positive, professional demeanor; work with families, staff, and consultants.
• Provide timely notification and documentation of incidents and plans.
• Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs.
• Receive feedback professionally and work independently with initial direction.
• May collaborate with other specialists and/or parents to implement additional goals and objectives.

• Must have a GED/High School Diploma or higher
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a reliable vehicle available to them at all times
• Must successfully pass a CORI check
• Must successfully pass a driving record check

• Saturdays: 9 am – 1 pm
• Compensation is based on practical experience, education and qualifications – ranging from $19 - $25 per hour
• Free BCBA supervised field work on NB ABA cases
• Paid mileage when transporting client
• Paid sick time
• RBT certification (after 3 months)
• Continued training in relevant skills
• Eligibility to participate in company rewards program
