Position: Shared Living Provider (Leominster, MA)

Overview

Shared Living Provider (Leominster, MA) – Nonotuck Resource Associates, Inc.

Nonotuck Resources Associates is a community-based agency that has provided residential services since 1972 to people with intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We support individuals who need assistance to remain living in a home setting. The shared living provider shares a home and must have an extra bedroom.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a meaningful relationship with the person they are sharing their home with—acting as a roommate and a friend.
  • Support independence by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and participation in regular household routines.
  • Provide companionship and participate in community activities and outings.
  • Assist with grocery shopping, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, routine budget management, medication management, and medical appointments.
  • Create a long-term living arrangement focused on safety, well-being, and engagement.
Eligibility & Qualifications
  • Must have a separate bedroom in the home for the individual being served.
  • Be able to provide reliable transportation.
  • Pass a standard CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and fingerprint check.
  • Be Certified in First Aid/CPR.
  • Applicants may be single individuals, couples, or families living in single-family homes or apartments with an extra bedroom. Willingness to move to the area is considered.

Openings available in Leominster, Fitchburg, Gardner, Webster, Southbridge, and surrounding areas.
