Primary Care/Geriatrics Physician Opening in Southbury, Connecticut (85 miles from New York City). Nuvance Health Medical Group seeks a compassionate physician to provide comprehensive care in our established practice.
Location:
Southbury, CT – 80 miles from NYC, 40 miles from Hartford. The office is near a shopping center, less than 2 miles from I‑84, with ample parking.
Practice details: 11 providers (8 physicians, 3 nurse practitioners). Adult patients only. Option for SNF coverage and teaching medical students/residents.
ResponsibilitiesProvide office‑based, outpatient services only; manage acute and chronic conditions; collaborate with multidisciplinary staff; use state‑of‑the‑art EHR integrated across all sites; participate in clinician wellness programs.
Qualifications- MD or DO with CT and NY state licenses;
Federal DEA in CT and NY; CT State Controlled Substance Registration. - Completed Internal Medicine residency;
Geriatrics fellowship desirable. - Board certified or board eligible.
- Light after‑hour coverage; shared among providers; phone only after nurse triage.
Competitive base salary $275,000‑$285,000 annually; incentive pay; paid time off; CME time off and allowance; medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) match; sign‑on bonus and relocation allowance (if applicable).
