Balance Life & Work with a New Career Opportunity at River Glen Health Care Center located in Southbury, CT.
Responsibilities- Reconcile and collect current and past due accounts via telephone calls and written correspondence.
- Maintain high customer contact relating to delinquent accounts.
- Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
- Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices; record amounts due for services rendered.
- Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data and keeping other records.
- Resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
- Contact customers to obtain or relay account information.
- Prior collection experience.
- Ability to maintain high customer contact regarding delinquent accounts.
- Multi-tasking and excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- 1 year of experience in Medical Billing.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with Medical billing, Medicaid, Medicare, and secondary insurance.
