RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse)

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Seabury at Pomperaug Woods is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership within our Health Center. This is an outstanding opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, team development, and ensuring the highest quality standards in a skilled nursing environment.

As the RN Unit Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily nursing operations, supporting and mentoring staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring residents receive exceptional care and services in a safe, supportive environment.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
  • Participation in an on-call rotation as needed
What You'll Do
  • Supervise and coordinate nursing care within the Health Center.
  • Conduct resident rounds to ensure quality care and a safe environment.
  • Respond to changes in resident conditions and coordinate appropriate interventions.
  • Partner with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, performance management, and staff development.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on respect, accountability, and excellent resident care.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications Required
  • Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred
  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing.
  • Experience with MDS, care planning, and regulatory compliance.
