Bookkeeper

Location: Leigh-on-Sea

We’re looking for an experienced and organised Bookkeeper to join a business based in Leigh-on-Sea.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident managing day-to-day accounts and enjoys working in a busy, supportive environment.

The Role

* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions.

* Processing invoices, payments and expenses.

* Bank reconciliations.

* Managing purchase and sales ledgers.

* Preparing VAT returns and supporting month-end processes.

* Monitoring outstanding payments and credit control.

* Maintaining accurate financial records.

* Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams.

* Providing general finance and administrative support.

About You

* Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.

* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

* Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

* Good understanding of bookkeeping principles.

* Able to work independently and manage deadlines.

* Professional, reliable and proactive approach.
