Restart - Admin Assistant Job Role
Are you passionate about supporting individuals in their language learning journey? We’re looking for a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant ESOL Support to join our team. This role combines administrative responsibilities with direct engagement in supporting ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learners through tailored one-on-one and group sessions.
You’ll play a key role in helping learners improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, while also supporting their employability and right-to-work needs. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll deliver one-on-one and group sessions to support ESOL learners, tailoring teaching strategies to meet individual and group needs while fostering a supportive environment that encourages active participation and peer learning. You’ll monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and assist with employability and right-to-work guidance. Alongside these learner-focused duties, you will carry out general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence, as well as organising meetings, appointments, and events.
Maintaining accurate records of ESOL sessions and administrative activities is essential, and you will also support the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed
Our ideal candidate will bring previous experience in an administrative role preferably within an educational or ESOL setting alongside strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a collaborative, empathetic approach to working with learners from diverse backgrounds
