Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
Carrying out repairs and service work to a high standard
Road testing vehicles and ensuring proper handling of parts and tools
Maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness
Providing excellent customer service and technical advice
Ensuring vehicle compliance with safety and environmental standards
Managing repair times to meet targeted deadlines

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Proven, stable experience in a vehicle technician role
Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures

Experience with repair, maintenance, and fault diagnosis
MOT testing certification is advantageous but not essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
