Service Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to join a long-established Essex-based automotive retailer.

We’re looking for an ambitious, customer-focused manager who can lead a busy service team, develop staff and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Salary: £45,000–£65,000 OTE (uncapped, depending on experience)

• 2 years automotive experience, in a Service Manager role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent leadership, organisation and diary-management skills
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
• A passion for developing and motivating a team
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Manage the day-to-day service and workshop operation
• Ensure vehicles are repaired and serviced to manufacturer and company standards
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and additional work
• Allocate work to Technicians according to skill and workload
• Support, train and motivate the service team
• Ensure paperwork and customer updates are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care and customer satisfaction

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm
