Art Teacher – Southend (ASAP Start)

Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Southend, seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their Art department as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Art specialist to step into a supportive school environment and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to students across a range of abilities. The role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable)

• Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons in line with the curriculum

• Supporting students to develop skills across a range of media and techniques

• Assessing and providing constructive feedback on student work

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Art department

• Contributing positively to the wider school community

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for creative education

• A positive, professional, and adaptable approach

• Ability to build strong relationships with students

• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
