Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day (Dependent on experience)

We are actively recruiting for a partner school in Southend-on-Sea that is looking to strengthen its support staff for the new year. They are seeking a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team in January 2026
.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced support staff or ambitious graduates to secure a long-term role with a highly competitive daily rate in the Southend area.

You will be working within the classroom to support the teacher and help students achieve their full potential.

• Targeted Support: providing 1:1 or small group assistance to students who need extra help with literacy, numeracy, or staying on task.

  Experience:
  
  Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (such as Autism, ADHD, or SEMH) to access the curriculum.
• Behaviour Management: helping to regulate student behaviour using positive reinforcement and de‑escalation strategies.
• Holistic Care: Ensuring students feel safe, confident, and eager to learn.

To access the higher pay bracket (£110/day), we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate significant impact in previous roles.

• Experience: Previous experience as an LSA, TA, or in a youth work/care setting is essential.
• Resilience: The ability to handle challenging situations with patience and a positive attitude.
• Proactive: You must be able to spot when a student is struggling and intervene without needing constant direction.
• DBS: An active Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply immediately).

• Great Pay: Earn £90 - £110 per day, paid weekly.
• Stability: A long-term contract starting in January 2026, offering job security for the new year.
