Randstad Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and skilled Science Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in the coastal community of Leigh-on-Sea
. This is an excellent opportunity for a QTS holder to work in an environment that values academic excellence and creative practical learning.

• Position: Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
• Location: Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
• Pay Rate: £140 - £170 per day (Weekly PAYE)
• Contract: Full-Time / Long-term Temporary
• Start Date: January 2026

• Inspire students across KS3 and KS4 with interactive Science lessons.
• Utilise well-equipped laboratories to lead safe and engaging practical experiments.
• Foster a growth mindset, helping students navigate the complexities of the national curriculum.
• Contribute to the wider school community in Leigh-on-Sea, attending departmental meetings and parent evenings.
• Tailor teaching methods to support a diverse range of learning needs and abilities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Strong subject knowledge across all three sciences (specialism in one is an advantage).
• Evidence of "Good" or "Outstanding" teaching practice.
• A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare (Enhanced DBS required).
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with students and staff alike.
