The school is looking to appoint an LSA SEN Teaching Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week during term time plus one additional week. The successful LSA SEN Teaching Assistant will provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs, disabilities or specific medical needs, including administering individual students' medication following appropriate training.

The successful LSA SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
  • GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities is desirable
  • The willingness to undertake appropriate training to administer medication
  • Strong communication skills when working with students, parents, staff and other professionals
  • A flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach
  • A positive and professional attitude
