Are you an experienced Biomedical Engineer with at least 5 years' experience, looking for more than just another service role?
We're looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our client's team in Harlow, playing a key role in the Return to Base (RTB), refurbishment, calibration and quality assurance of life‑saving medical equipment. Alongside ensuring devices are safe, compliant and ready for redeployment, you'll also deliver hands‑on technical training, mentor engineers and support continuous improvement across the team.
This role is ideal for a Biomedical, Clinical or Medical Device Engineer who enjoys problem‑solving and wants to make an impact beyond day‑to‑day repairs.
To be considered, you'll need- A minimum of 5 years' Biomedical Engineering experience
- An HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven training and coaching capability
- A minimum of 3 years' UK-based industry experience

Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end RTB lifecycle, including inspection, repair, calibration, refurbishment and redeployment of biomedical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with MHRA, ISO 13485, HTM standards and company quality procedures.
- Coordinate with hospitals, logistics teams and internal stakeholders to optimise equipment turnaround.
- Deliver technical training, mentor engineers and maintain training records.
- Maintain CMMS asset records, equipment, tools and spare parts.
- Support quality assurance, preventative maintenance and equipment compliance.
- Analyse performance data, drive continuous improvement and support monthly KPI reporting.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, Customer Service Excellence teams and OEMs to improve service delivery.
- HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' Biomedical Engineering experience
- Minimum 3 years' UK industry experience
- Experience maintaining and calibrating medical devices
- Strong knowledge of MHRA, ISO 13485, HTM and CMMS
- Proven technical training and coaching experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
