We're looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead to join a purpose-driven international organisation delivering programmes that create positive change around the world. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract to begin and is a high-profile role responsible for leading global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and business performance reporting. Working closely with senior leaders across multiple countries and functions, you'll provide the financial insight and strategic analysis needed to support informed decision-making and maximise organisational impact.
You'll also lead a high-performing FP&A team, oversee global payroll governance, and champion continuous improvement across financial systems and reporting. What you'll be doing Lead the organisation's global planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Deliver insightful monthly business performance reporting and analysis for senior leadership. Build robust financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions and scenario analysis. Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, fundraising, people and operational teams to provide commercially focused financial advice.
Lead, coach and develop the FP&A team, creating a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high performance. Work with international finance colleagues to strengthen financial planning across multiple countries. Support year-end planning and collaborate with Financial Control to ensure effective financial reporting. Oversee global payroll governance, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies. Identify financial risks and opportunities, helping shape organisational strategy.
Drive improvements to financial processes, reporting and systems. About you You'll be an experienced finance leader who enjoys translating complex financial information into meaningful business insight. You'll bring:
Significant experience leading financial planning, budgeting and forecasting within a complex organisation. Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills. Experience partnering with senior leadership teams to influence strategic decision-making. Strong leadership and people management capability. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences. Experience working across multiple entities or international operations. Knowledge of payroll governance and financial compliance.
Ideally, you'll also have: A recognised professional accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience with in the charity, NGO or grant-funded sector.
