We are looking to recruit a Customer Payments Clerk
, to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the Customer Payments Manager in all aspects of premium collections, credit control, processing customer refunds and reporting.

This is a hybrid role - 1 day a week on site at our Southend office.

• Processing collection files
• Managing customer refunds
• Acting as the first point of contact for finance related queries
• Supporting credit control activities
• Assisting with month end and internal reporting

• Previous experience in Finance, or credit control is essential
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Disciplined, organised and methodical approach
• Ability to understand the importance of confidentiality in handling financial data
• Insurance or financial services sector experience - beneficial
• Systems knowledge - Sirius, ICE, Sage Pay, PTX, Premium Credit Limited, Magenta and Pay
  360 systems – beneficial
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4-9(A*-C) or equivalent to include Mathematics and English
