What you will do:

• Lead and manage a team of Radiographers, Apprentice Radiographers, and assistants, ensuring efficient and effective operation of the treatment/pre-treatment unit.
• Deliver a timely, efficient, and accurate service to patients as a Band 7 Radiography leader in various specialties such as Treatment, Pre-treatment, Brachytherapy, Quality Assurance, or Training and Education.
• Offer advice, reassurance, and support throughout the patient’s care pathway, respecting their dignity and emotional needs.
• Maintain precise records of treatment planning and deliver treatments with both order and logic.
• Display flexibility in your work approach by participating in shift patterns, extended hours, on-call duties, and weekend/Bank Holiday work as needed.
• Ensure you are HCPC registered and ready to bring your expertise to the vibrant setting of Southend.
