Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Mental Health Nurse position in our Mental Health Liaison Team at Southend Hospital, Southend, Essex. We are looking for highly motivated, caring and forward thinking Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses who are committed, flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic. You must have a keen interest in liaising and collaboratively working with system partners. You will be instrumental in service development and contribute to the accreditation of the service.

For this post you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively in a multidisciplinary team environment. You will be expected to support the team and conduct biopsychosocial assessments, establish and manage care plans for patients who present at Basildon Hospital. As a Senior Mental Health Hospital Liaison Nurse, you will support STR workers, Associate Practitioners, Community Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and the Clinical Lead in implementing effective changes within the team to ensure the service meets the Trust's objectives.
