Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Radiotherapy Radiographer to join its forward‑thinking radiotherapy team. The role involves operating Elekta Linear Accelerators, Halcyon system with Ethos software, and supporting an established brachytherapy service. The position offers flexibility and a chance to rotate across CT, pre‑treatment, treatment and brachytherapy units.

• Deputise for the senior unit in charge when required.
• Provide clear instructions, guidance and advice to patients and carers regarding treatment procedures, side‑effects and follow‑up appointments.
• Supervise student and apprentice radiographers during clinical and elective placements.
• Assist the team leader in day‑to‑day management of patient flow and clinical workload.
• Deliver high‑quality, individualised treatment and care to all patients.
• Act with integrity, professionalism and serve as a role model to junior staff members and students.

• BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Evidence of CPD activity.

Essential

• Demonstrable experience as a radiographer.
• Experience working across a range of treatment delivery and planning activities within a radiotherapy department.

Desirable

• Experience of Elekta and Halcyon Linear Accelerators.
• Experience of brachytherapy.
• Experience of Toshiba CT scanner.

Full‑time or part‑time, with shift patterns, extended hours, on‑call rota and possible weekend and Bank Holiday work to meet service capacity.
