Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team on a fixed‑term basis.
You will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality audiological services across our Audiology department. Your primary focus will be on supporting adult pathways, helping patients regain confidence in their hearing and improving their overall quality of life.
This fixed‑term post offers the opportunity to develop your clinical skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, while contributing to the continued delivery of safe, effective, and patient‑centred care.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality care to adult patients and, where appropriate, children in an IQIPS accredited Audiology service.
- Undertake routine and specialist diagnostic assessment of adult patients (and children as required) and fit and maintain NHS hearing aids.
- Participate in routine clinical duties within the department and support operational responsibilities such as coordination of equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the department and support service development.
- Supervise and support BSc students and junior staff under the guidance of the Team Leader.
- Plan and deliver diagnostic testing and rehabilitation programmes tailored to patient needs.
- Plan and manage your own caseload, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
- Contribute to data collection, audit activity, and service improvement initiatives.
- Support integrated patient care with the multidisciplinary team, including ENT colleagues.
- Registration with AHCS or HCPC
- MSc Audiology
- NHS Experience
- Experience with Audit Base
- Wide experience with adult Audiology diagnostics
