HR Adviser - Education | £30k -£33k + benefits | Multi-site | Enhanced DBS

We're partnering with a values-led education provider to hire a proactive HR Adviser who will support leaders and staff across multiple campuses. If you're a confident generalist who loves solving problems, shaping culture, and delivering a first-class HR service, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

Provide clear, compassionate advice on employee relations (conduct, capability, grievances, performance, absence).
Track and process probations, absences, payroll/contract changes, and support operational HR activity.
Support change initiatives, organisation design, and engagement projects with the HRBP.
Champion wellbeing (train as a Mental Health First Aider) and safeguarding (act as/designate Child Protection Officer).
Build trusted relationships with managers and present HR updates and insights at all levels.
Keep policies compliant, promote EDI, and help drive continuous improvement across HR.

What you'll bring

CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent HR qualification) and 4+ years' generalist HR experience.
Proven ER casework experience in a fast-paced setting.
Solid grasp of UK employment law and core HR processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and sound judgement.
Organised, solutions-focused, discrete-able to juggle priorities.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Willing to complete Enhanced DBS, and train as MHFA and Safeguarding/Child Protection Officer.

Nice to have:
Education sector experience and familiarity with safeguarding processes.
