Sports and Cleaning Operative

Location: Southend-On-Sea

Your new role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Sport & Cleaning Operative to join our team in Southend. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness, and safe operation of local sports grounds and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out light grounds maintenance duties
Litter picking across sports pitches and surrounding public areas
Cleaning of public facilities, including walkways, seating areas, and amenities
Ensuring sites remain safe, tidy, and welcoming for visitors
Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.

What you'll need to succeed

Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in ground maintenance or cleaning (desirable but not essential)
