Skilled Shift Engineer

We are looking for experienced and ambitious Skilled
Shift
PSV Mechanic to join Arriva, based at our Southend depot.

As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA.

• £22.90 per hour
• £34.35 per hour for Overtime.
• 40 hours per week

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.

• MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks.
• Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA).

• Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair
  - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation).
• A full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
• Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
