About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Southend-on-Sea for motivated and reliable individuals to join their team as Trainee Print Finishers. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in the print and manufacturing industry.

Full training will be provided, so no previous print finishing experience is required — however, a background in a factory or manufacturing environment is essential.

Shift Patterns & Pay

Afternoon

Shift: 14:00 – 22:00, Monday to Friday | £12.71 per hour
Night

Shift: 22:00 – 06:00, Monday to Friday (training period), then moving to Sunday to Thursday once competent | £13.34 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with print finishing processes as part of a production team
Following instructions and procedures during the training period
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Meeting production targets and quality standards
Requirements

Previous factory or manufacturing experience (essential)
Willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibility
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Able to commit to shift work, including nights
Good attention to detail
