Aerospace CNC Programmer & Setter

Job Title: CNC Programmer

Location: Southend

Remuneration: £38,000 p/a

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 37 hours per week

Contract Details: Permanent

• Program, set, and operate CNC Milling Machines, including Bridgeport and Haas models.
• Work with materials like aluminium & stainless steel.
• Coordinate programming and setting activities with existing team members.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality.
• Reduce scrap and report efficiencies to the Production Manager.
• Maintain machine efficiency to meet On Time Deliveries and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a clean working environment.

• Proficient in programming, setting, and running CNC mills.
• Ability to set using Fanuc controls on a 3 and 4 axis mill.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent measurement skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong team player with effective communication skills.
