Aircraft Assembly Operative (Night Shift) Basildon, Essex £16.49 per hour  Shift Allowance We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Assembly Operative to join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment on a permanent night shift.

Key Responsibilities Assemble aircraft components to customer specifications and quality standards Work with solid rivets using hand and air riveting tools Carry out visual inspections of completed assemblies Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Use Verniers and specialist measuring equipment accurately Adjust and assemble sheet metal components Operate air tools including drills, rivet presses and rivet guns Apply sealants and work with a variety of engineering materials and finishes Ensure products meet precision engineering and aerospace quality requirements Requirements Previous assembly experience within an engineering or aerospace environment Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications Experience using hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work to strict quality, safety and production standards What We're Looking For The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Teamwork , while contributing to continuous improvement and achieving production targets.
