A Registered General Nurse post at Kenway Court, a residential community care home run by Shaftesbury Group for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. The role centres on clinical care for everyone supported, including assessments, medication administration and implementing and reviewing care plans. Nursing support is provided to people with complex needs within a person-centred, flexible model, on a 37.5-hour week.
A valid NMC PIN is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
- Ensure the highest standard of clinical care for everyone supported
- Carry out assessments
- Administer medication
- Implement and evaluate care plans
- Valid NMC PIN, with details provided to Shaftesbury
- Enhanced DBS or Access NI check
- Birthday day off for frontline care staff, taken from annual leave
- Gift vouchers if the service is rated good or outstanding by CQC
- Recognition letter, or gift voucher up to £50, for going above and beyond
- Excellent training package for all staff
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, rising to 28 days after 5 years
