Quality Controller

Key Med (Medical & Industrial Equipment) Ltd. (OKM) | Chief Quality Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully react to quality issues with minimal disruption to production
  • Effectively resolve root causes to minimise potential quality concerns
  • Effectively resolve active concerns using the QMS
  • Complete mandatory training successfully
  • Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
  • Support production in resolving quality concerns with minimal disruption
  • Guide staff in analysing defect causes and implementing corrective and containment actions
  • Monitor status of all calibrated equipment and assist in completing calibrations as required
  • Assist with inspection of products in accordance with quality specifications
  • Participate in other ad‑hoc duties and projects as required
  • Advise R&D and manufacturing engineers on quality of products and processes
  • Carry out statistical analysis of scrap and non‑conforming product
  • Self‑manage and resolve internal quality concerns effectively
Qualifications
  • Professional experience in a quality related role within a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Manufacturing calibration experience (essential)
  • Experience in Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances
  • Experience using measuring tools
  • Basic IT skills – MS Teams, Word, Excel
  • Physical requirement: must be on feet for extended periods and may need to walk between sites
  • Some travel required to visit subsidiary companies and suppliers
