We are seeking a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our school catering team. The successful candidate will help provide healthy, nutritious meals for pupils and staff in a welcoming, safe and hygienic environment. Working monday - friday 12-2pm
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation, serving and presentation of school meals.
- Set up and clear dining areas before and after service.
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
- Follow food hygiene procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and storage of food supplies.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to pupils and staff.
- Support the catering team to ensure the smooth running of the school kitchen.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
