We are recruiting in the South East a diligent Asbestos Bulk Analyst to operate out of a UKAS accredited laboratory. You will join a privately-owned asbestos consultancy with a friendly and professional atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a thorough and methodical approach to their work, and must hold the BOHS P401.

Candidates must be able to commute to the lab. Our client can offer competitive salaries and benefits in addition to excellent further training opportunities.

• Must hold the BOHS P401 qualification.
• Strong experience working as an Asbestos Bulk Analyst.
• Working knowledge of UKAS guidelines.
• IT literate.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work to agreed deadlines.
• Additional qualification(s): P402, P403, P404 or S301 CCP.

• Analysing samples through stereo light microscopy and PLM methods.
• Logging samples in and out.
• Keeping records of findings and updating the company database.
• Producing analysis certificates and issuing them to clients.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the laboratory.
• Answering client enquiries via telephone and email.
• Participating in quality assurance checks and auditing.
• Maintaining high levels of service to clients.
