Relief Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate

£13.23 per hour.

Various shifts to be discussed as to cover:
Southend, Rochford, East Mayne, Rayleigh, Weir. Includes weekends and late nights.

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

• Must hold a current SIA licence.
• Own transport highly desirable.
• Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history required.

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Deter violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with the store management teams.
• Collaborate with the Police and crime partnerships to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store.
• Wear body worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
