Key Responsibilities

Recruit, assess, train, supervise and support foster carers
Manage a capped caseload of up to 6 Form F assessments
Complete clear, evidence-based assessments and action plans
Provide professional support to children, young people, birth families and foster carers
Apply a holistic, restorative practice approach to fostering work Requirements

Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
Completion of ASYE
Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualifying experience within Fostering
Sound knowledge of relevant fostering legislation and regulations
Strong assessment skills and ability to support and guide foster carers
