• Salary: £38ph
• Contract Type: Full-Time and on-going contract

We are recruiting an experienced Assessment & Intervention (A&I) Social Worker to join a high-performing frontline team. This role focuses on completing timely, high-quality assessments and interventions to safeguard children and support families at the earliest stage.

• Undertake Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory timescales
• Complete Section 47 enquiries and lead safeguarding investigations where required
• Manage a varied caseload involving children in need and child protection concerns
• Conduct direct work with children and families, identifying risks and protective factors
• Develop, implement, and review clear intervention plans to reduce risk and promote positive outcomes
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies including health, education, police, and early help services
• Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and court-ready documentation when necessary
• Participate in duty and backup duty rotas, responding effectively to new referrals
