Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Southend-on-Sea City Council in recruiting a Social Worker to join their Families First Service on a permanent basis.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with children, young people and families to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Complete assessments, intervention plans and reviews.
  • Undertake Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children's work.
  • Build strong relationships with families using a restorative approach.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to coordinate support and deliver effective interventions.

For This Role You Will Need

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Successful completion of ASYE.
  • Previous experience within Children's Frontline Services.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
