Rental Car Manager

Position Overview

Pinehurst Toyota/Hyundai is seeking an experienced Rental Car Manager to oversee our dealership-based rental and service loaner operation
. This role is critical in supporting our Service, New Car, Used Car departments as well as the public, by ensuring timely vehicle availability, smooth customer experiences, and efficient fleet utilization.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dealership, service advisor, fleet, or rental management experience who understands the fast pace of a dealership environment.

• Manage daily operations of the service loaner and rental fleet
• Coordinate closely with Service Advisors, Service Managers
  .
• Track vehicle check-in/check-out, mileage, fuel levels, and damage
• Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for customer use
• Monitor fleet utilization, availability, and replacement schedules
• Handle customer questions, rental agreements, and damage resolution
• Hire, train, and supervise rental department staff
• Control expenses and maximize fleet efficiency and profitability
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and insurance requirements

• Previous experience in automotive dealership operations, rental management, or fleet operations preferred
• Strong understanding of service department workflows
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Comfortable using dealership software (TSD) and rental systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Stable, full-time dealership position Mon-Fri 8am till 5pm.
