About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our collaborative accounting team. In this role, you’ll oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments. You’ll play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall success of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to payment processing.
• Review and process expense reports with accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies or errors efficiently.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support month‑end close and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting function.
• Solid understanding of the accounts payable cycle and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Background in accounting or finance preferred.
