Retail Operations Manager – Midas - Detroit

Join us as a Retail Operations Manager at Midas - Detroit, a family‑owned multi‑unit tire & auto service retailer founded in 2013. In this 100% performance‑based role, you will oversee the overall operations of a fast‑paced tire and automotive service facility.

$85,000.00/yr – $/yr (plus commission)

• Write and review repair orders, estimates, and inspections.
• Dispatch and prioritize jobs to ensure each vehicle is inspected & presented within 45 minutes.
• Sell recommended services and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Train and manage Service Advisors, CSRs, and Technicians.
• Monitor KPIs such as technician productivity, first‑time fix rate, and service time.
• Conduct meetings, set goals, and drive sales performance.
• Control expenses (parts, labor, warranty claims, comebacks).
• Manage inventory, parts ordering, and vendor returns.
• Oversee compliance, safety, and shop appearance.
• Achieve monthly targets for Gross Profit, Tires, Financing, Car Count, etc.

• 3–5 years of automotive retail sales and/or management experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Base salary (guaranteed) plus commission pay.
