Job Title: Facility Attendant - Sports Arena

Classification: Non-Career/Continuing Part-time

Pay Rate: Starts at $12.50 hourly

Location: Southfield Sports Arena, Southfield, MI

Work Schedule: Not more than 40 hours weekly; flexible schedule / Both Weekday & Weekend hours

• Assist the Specialty Coordinator/Zamboni Driver with customer service and keeping the Sports Arena clean.
• Answer customer questions and provide information professionally.
• Keep facility clean during evening and weekend shifts (sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage).
• Hand out rental skates.
• Move hockey nets on and off ice at the start and end of rentals.
• Keep the entryways clean.
• Clean arena glass inside and out.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
• Be at least 16 years of age and sufficiently mature for this high‑profile position.
• Excellent organization and verbal/written communication skills.
• Logical and rational thinking to solve problems.
• Can follow detailed written and/or verbal instructions independently.
• Availability to work evenings and weekend shifts.

• Minimum of 16 years of age with a certain level of maturity.

• Driver record and criminal history background check will be required.
