Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist to join the Obstetrics and Gynecology team.
We are looking for an individual who values evidence-based care with a strong emphasis on patient safety and resident education. Our Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist physician will work assigned shifts (12 – 13 hours) to function, in conjunction with nursing leadership, as the clinical supervisor in labor and delivery, the gynecology unit, operating room and emergency department.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as on-site clinical director of Labor & Delivery with collaboration of the Director of Obstetrics, Director of Obstetric Nursing and Chairman of the Department.
- Supervise the care of resident clinic patients and patients without an attending physician.
- Attend and supervise the care and deliveries of patients whose attending obstetrician is not available.

As a major teaching hospital, you will have the opportunity to enhance both your clinical and teaching skills through interaction with medical students and residents.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited OBGYN residency program.
- BC in specialty.
- Interest in teaching.
