Overview
Henry Ford Genesys Hospital (Grand Blanc, Michigan), a Level 2 Trauma Center in the Mid-Michigan region, consists of 410 beds and provides 24/7 emergency care and surgical specialty care services. It is an accredited teaching hospital with seven residency programs, five fellowship programs and multiple medical school affiliations. Henry Ford Genesys is seeking an experienced BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a busy, employed cardiothoracic surgery group covering Henry Ford hospitals in Michigan.
This position with Ascension Medical Group offers a vibrant employed referral network of primary and specialty care physicians.
Immediate coverage is needed at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. The chosen candidate will enjoy working with a supportive team with primary goals of programmatic excellence and quality outcomes. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Division provides all aspects of cardiac (except transplant), thoracic, TAVR and innovative multi-disciplinary procedures, including DaVinci XI Robot. Prior to recent events there were approximately 200 cardiac and 180 thoracic surgeries annually at Henry Ford Genesys.
The position would be primarily clinical responsibilities. Clinical research opportunities are available and flexible to be suited to the candidate's area of interest. This position offers a competitive salary (with productivity bonus), excellent benefits and a generous CME package.
Grand Blanc, Michigan is located at the southern border of Genesee County and northern Oakland County, 10 miles south of Flint and 60 miles north of Detroit. The city occupies approximately four square miles. Qualifications- Successful completion of training in an accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship program
- Robotic experience a plus
- BC General Surgery and BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgery
