Are you passionate for innovation and disruptive technology? Our Engineering and Technology Development Program may be for you! This two‑year rotational program consists of two unique 12‑month assignments. The program will give you the opportunity to design the world’s next intelligent power management solutions and bring them to life. You will build leadership aptitude and technical depth in critical focus areas.
ProgramOverview
The Engineering And Technology Development Program - Power Electronics Track focuses on developing power electronics technology platforms and common hardware building blocks to create innovative solutions. Rotations will support a specific business unit/product line or work with broader technologies across the enterprise. Strategic teams work on cutting‑edge technologies including MV Power Conversion, Solid State Circuit Protection, Transportation Electrification, and Energy Intelligence.
Benefits& Compensation
- Annual salary: $95,000
- One‑time signing bonus: $15,000
- Competitive total rewards package commensurate with skills, knowledge, and experience, consistent with internal and external market practices.
- Master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering from an accredited institution, graduation date before August 2026
- Minimum of one internship/co‑op experience or equivalent of 3 months of Power Electronics work experience at time of application
- Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States

- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
- Two or more relevant internships or co‑op experiences
- Power Electronics industry experience (hardware/control design, power conversion, model‑based design, circuit design and simulation, electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation)
- Preferred software exposure: RTDS, OPAL‑RT, Typhoon, dSPACE, MATLAB
- Exposure to machine learning or AI concepts through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects, including AI‑assisted development tools, prompt engineering, generative AI models, and simulation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts effectively
- Travel up to 25% within local region as determined by the Engineering & Technology Assignment Manager
- Intern responsible for transportation to and from the worksite; expenses for required and approved business travel reimbursed
- Geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States throughout the duration and completion of the Development Program to designated Eaton facilities (e.g., Raleigh, NC; Pittsburgh, PA; Milwaukee, WI; Southfield, MI; Torrance, CA)
