Following its establishment in 2012, Plzeň has grown into our fastest-growing Engineering Development Center in Europe. The center focuses on the design and development of Lear products, including complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim components. The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.
As Senior Test Technician you will be a member of the functional testing department in our Development Center in Pilsen. You will be responsible for assuring of right test conditions according defined specification.Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing development, functional and durability tests of car seats, according to defined specification.
- Creation of test protocols according test results (if needed).
- Performing the regular maintenance of test device, according defined maintenance plan.
- Communication with validation engineers in case of any doubts in specifications.
We expect from you:
- Secondary technical school education.
- Experience in the field of electrical engineering.
- Reading and orientation in mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- MS Office - Word, Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical measurement technology.
- Nice to have previous experience with testing area;
Siemens LOGO!; building of electrical cabinets; low current electronics (eg. amplifiers, analog sensors); CAN/LIN BUS communication. - 5 weeks of vacation
