Join Capgemini Engineering as a Senior PLM Business Architect, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise‑wide Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategies. This is an opportunity to influence digital transformation initiatives, drive innovation, and deliver measurable business impact for global organizations.
Your role- Lead enterprise‑wide PLM transformation programs, creating strategic roadmaps aligned with business objectives and digital initiatives.
- Assess current PLM environments, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions to optimise product development processes.
- Design scalable PLM architectures that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems (ERP, MES, CRM) while ensuring data integrity and governance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Develop business cases and ROI models to demonstrate PLM investment value to executive stakeholders.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging PLM technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development within the PLM practice.
- Partner closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions leveraging expertise in PLM and related engineering disciplines.
- Extensive experience in PLM consulting, implementation, and architecture, with deep knowledge of major platforms (Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Enovia, PTC Windchill, SAP PLM).
- Proven success leading large‑scale PLM transformation programs across industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, and life sciences.
- Strong understanding of product development processes: requirements management, BOM management, change management, configuration management, and digital thread implementation.
- Technical expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, integration patterns, and data migration strategies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and methodologies (CMII, APQP, ASPICE, ISO).
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing, Model‑Based Definition (MBD), Digital Twin concepts, and IoT integration with PLM systems.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Professional certifications in PLM platforms, enterprise architecture (TOGAF), or project management (PMP) are a plus.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $101,000–$200,000 per year. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The actual compensation offered may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
