Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor - Year-round At Roseville Middle School

Schedule:

Full Time, Year-round position. Monday
- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm – NO weekends or major holidays. Full benefits are associated with this position.

Summary:

Provides behavioral health counseling services at Roseville Middle School. The program is year-round – position continues through summer vacation.

• Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
• Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
• Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
• Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

• Master's Degree with at least 3 years' experience in the field of counseling, social work or psychology

• Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any issuing authority accepted. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted.
• Experience working with Children & Adolescents preferred
