Position : IBM Web Sphere MQSeries (MQ) Infrastructure Engineering

Location:
Southfield, MI

Duration: 6-12 Months

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

• Experience automating, configuring, installing MQ or other middleware
• Experience using monitoring tools to configure MQ ie.
  
  Tivoli
• Experience in the installation and configuration of MQ or similar middleware products on Linux, AIX, Solaris, Windows Server and AS/400

Technical

Skills:

Experience in automating the install/config of MQ or similar middleware products, using Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows Server scripts.

Nice to have technical skills:

• Experience in the development of applications that use MQ, using the standard MQ APIs (Connect, Open, Put, Get)
• Experience using Tivoli-Omegamon or similar enterprise monitoring tools, preferably to monitor and configure MQ

Other

Skills:

• A do-whatever-it-takes attitude and work ethic
• A strong desire to continually deepen MQ expertise
• A strong desire to learn all tangential technologies and processes involved with supporting MQ
