Maintenance Supervisor – LR Management Services
Join the fastest growing property management company in Michigan as a Maintenance Supervisor! LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual with previous apartment maintenance experience. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be self‑motivated and self‑directed.
Primary Responsibilities- Work with the Property Manager to ensure the safety, maintenance, and equipment needs of the property, along with overall community requirements.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, changing locks and cutting keys, make‑ready punch lists, carpentry, landscaping, and general curb appeal.
- Order supplies for inventory.
- S/chedule projects in vacant apartments ahead of time to get work completed in a timely manner.
- Manage large capital projects, including bidding, supervising contractors and sub‑contractors, and reviewing completed work.
- Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve any issues.

- Three (3) years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (preferred) or Technician in a multi‑family apartment setting or equivalent industry.
- HVAC and EPA Certification.
- Experience with Yardi.
- Experience estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects.
- The ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them.
- The ability to understand and work within a budget.
- Knowledge of property management at the leasing and administrative levels.
- Intermediate computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven time‑management skills in meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- The ability to create a team‑centered environment and lead that team effectively.
- The ability to take direction from leadership and follow through on the directive.
- Pool certification preferred.
