This role offers the opportunity to serve middle-market clients as a trusted advisor, specialize in a specific industry, influence engagement outcomes, and contribute to the growth and development of the audit team.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted member of engagement teams, delivering assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
- Engage proactively with clients throughout the year to understand goals, challenges, and operational needs.
- Implement and oversee testing procedures to assess internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Manage fieldwork, ensuring quality service and timely completion of deliverables.
- Provide financial statement insights, analysis, and business recommendations based on testing and findings.
- Oversee engagement staffing, billing, collections, and profitability targets.
- Build strong internal and external relationships through networking and community involvement.
- Participate in firm-wide learning and development programs to continue professional growth.
- Support team members’ growth through active coaching and mentoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; advanced degree preferred.
- CPA required.
- 5+ years of audit experience in a professional services environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience with demonstrated success mentoring staff.
- Experience auditing manufacturing and commercial services clients preferred.
- Strong management, analytical, organizational, communication, and project-management skills.
- Ability to lead teams, deliver exceptional client service, and maintain high ethical and quality standards.
- Proficiency with auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
