Position: Business Development Representative | EDI Solutions | USA Market

Overview

Sintel, a leading company in data integration and supply chain solutions, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to help accelerate growth in the US automotive sector. This role is ideal for someone with some prior sales experience who is ready to take the next step, combining prospecting, lead qualification, and early client engagement.

You’ll be part of a growing team, working closely with Account Executives to develop opportunities and build Sintel’s presence in the market. This role requires travel for client visits or events and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities within the automotive supply chain (OEMs and suppliers).
  • Use multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, Linked In, events, AI tools) to connect with IT and supply chain leaders.
  • Qualify leads, run discovery calls, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand needs and pain points.
  • Support with preparation for meetings and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline updates in CRM and provide insights on market trends.
  • Represent Sintel in networking events and industry conferences.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or inside sales.
  • Track record of generating leads, setting meetings, and supporting sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with ability to engage professionals at different levels.
  • Proactive, organized, and motivated to exceed targets.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with EDI, supply chain, automotive, or IT ecosystems.
  • Experience with consultative or solution-oriented sales.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce).

Southfield, MI | Hybrid (On-site three times a week).
